At the end of September I went scouting for an LBW in Tux, Austria. I know the area well, as I’ve been skiing there for more than 30 years. I was surprised to see the valley in completely different colours from what I’m used to — all of a sudden it was not white, but green! Of course, there is always some snow around, as this is a glacier region and goes up to 3,250 metres.
While I was there, I discovered excellent hikes and walks, lovely pubs and cafés and I found a hall for us in Lanersbach. Have a look around in this blog and let me know if anything important is missing.
So, do we want to go to Lanersbach, Tux, next year? Let’s discuss this on the LBW mailinglist.
