The Hall

Opening hours: 8 am to midnight

We will be based in the newly built “Tux-Center”, right in the middle of the village of Lanersbach. A Spar supermarket (open Monday to Saturday from 7:30 am to 6 pm), a bakery (Dorfbäckerei Stock, open Monday to Saturday from 6 am to 6 pm, Sunday from 6:30 am to 10 am), several pubs and cafés are right around the corner. All accomodation in Lanersbach is also in walking distance. I’ve collected more information on the village of Lanersbach on this page.

We’re planning to rent the “Gletschersaal” (“glacier hall”, 70 sqm) which can seat up to 60 people. It also has a nice patio attached (smokers’ lounge and room for 20 more geeks) from where you can see the glacier panorama in Hintertux. There is a well-equipped kitchen in the ground floor, next to the café downstairs. The building and the hall itself is accessible for wheelchairs and comes with wireless internet connection.

The café at the Tux-Center called "Alex und Tom"Downstairs is a nice coffee place, run by Alex and Tom. They offer various local beers, coffee and tea, home-made cakes, Glühwein and Jagertee, as well as snacks (i.e. soups, sandwiches with local mountain cheese and bacon, spare ribs, etc.).
